China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), a Chinese state-owned company engaged in the fields of energy conservation, emission reduction and environment protection, has signed an agreement with Plasco Energy Group, Inc., a Canada-based waste conversion and energy generation company, to form a joint venture (JV) CECEP-Plasco China Corp. CECEP Plasco China will work on converting waste to energy located in China and jointly owned by the CECEP and Plasco Energy.

Plasco Energy will provide its Plasco conversion system technology to be delivered in China only through CECEP-Plasco China. CECEP and its subsidiaries will use the Plasco conversion system for development in China of projects to recover energy from waste.
